Award Winning Dance Classes
Carnaby School of Dance is an award-winning Dance School in the heart of Oldham and we pride ourselves on creating a fun, caring and nurturing environment alongside an atmosphere that encourages achievement. We offer: RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap, ISTD Jazz, BBO Level 3 Course, Adult Ballet, Adult Tap, Jazz for Adults, Summer Schools, Dance Exams, Dance Shows, Dance Parties, Workshops, Theatre Trips, Studio Hire and Private Lessons.
Sparkle in the Spotlight of Centre Stage...
Spectacular Dance Shows
We hold our Annual Show every June/July at Middleton Arena, selling out to an audience of nearly 500 every year.
All Carnaby School of Dance students are invited to participate in the Show, from show-stopping group numbers, to solo, duet and trio performances; this is our students' chance to showcase their hard work and take centre stage - all whilst having fun and dazzling audiences with the most beautiful costumes!
Grow & Develop Through Dance Examination Programmes
Exams & Teaching Certificates
Dance Exams here at CSD follow the RAD, ISTD & BBO Syllabi. We run three Exam Sessions per year, meaning that students are always given the opportunity to build their confidence through achievement.
All students are invited to participate in Exams in order for them to continue to grow and develop as part of their journey with us here at Carnaby School of Dance. Our Principal
Hi, I’m Miss Laura and my favourite thing is teaching dance, especially ballet! I believe that dance is far more than a weekly activity and the friends that you make whilst dancing will often become your friends for life, while dance classes themselves offer important life lessons such as working as part of a team, discipline, manners, independence, a tenacious attitude, grace and poise. If you’re not already a student, we cannot wait to welcome you into the Carnaby School of Dance family!
