Elevate Your Passion for Dance With CSD's Level 3 Dance Teaching Assistant Certificate
We are super proud of the fact that not only is Carnaby School of Dance a host Dance School for British Ballet Organisation’s (bbodance) Level 3 Certificate in Dance Teaching Assisting, but students get to shadow and assist Miss Laura, our School Principal, throughout the duration of their Level 3. Miss Laura is one of three Tutors for bbodance on the Level 3 Qualification, so is well-versed in helping assess and guide students in order to achieve this amazing certificate!
bbodance's Level 3 Recognised Certificate is aimed at students aged 14+ who have taken Graded and Vocational Graded Examinations in Dance, have a passion for dance teaching and who may wish to study for a teaching qualification in the future.
The Level 3 Dance Teaching Assistant Certificate is a standalone award recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and the knowledge and skills it helps students develop will give them a good foundation to assist in the Dance Studio or progress to a Level 4 Course in the future.

The course lasts for 4 months, is designed to ‘fit in’ well with existing
School/College and Dance commitments, and consists of 3 modules:
As part of the course, students will be asked to observe a qualified dance teacher. This teacher (Miss Laura) acts as the students’ Host Dance Studio. More information on this fantastic qualification can be found online via the link below.
